Brides The Show 16

Brides The Show was back in London at the Business Design Centre last weekend, here I was working along side Debbie Carlisle at her stand in the bridal accessories section. The whole weekend consisted of wonderful, lovely brides with their families and friends

Debbie Carlisle – Handmade bridal hair accessories

Zita Elze – Floral Artist Brides The Show – Editor’s Gold Design Award 2016

Once the show was closed to the public I finally managed to have a little look around and oh my goodness!!!! Everybody’s stand were stunning! I couldn’t get over the floral arrangements and the colour schemes that each stand was presenting.

Hiding In The City Flowers
I took this picture when this stand was still setting up however I just love the contrast of the bright and pastel pinks against a dark navy background, such a modern twist to a romantic flower arrangement. This has to be my favourite image from the show! Love, love love!!

Maisie Hair Pins –
These Maisie hair pins were one of the favourite amongst the brides. So versatile and pretty much fits with every hairstyle. This bride was wanting some sparkles trailing around a high bun.

Brides The Show 16 Catwalk – Circus Themed
New York Bridal Week set the theme for the catwalk as they took to the theatre stage on Friday night, featuring Monique LHuillier, Galia Lahav and  Romona Keveza just to name a few!

Bespoke Ivy Hair vine
Not mention… that I managed to get the first sale with this beautiful bespoke Ivy hair vine! This is designed to sit above this brides veil, so simple and elegant. Handmade by Debbie and I with silver wire, fresh water pearls, mother of pearl flowers and clear crystal beads. (so proud!!) I love how the silver and pearl contrasts against the colour of her hair.

I had the best (but tiring) time at Brides The Show. It was so rewarding seeing clients faces once they saw how each piece looked on their hair and immediately falling in love with them! It was so much fun meeting brides and styling  the hair vines with hair as they discover a modern twist of the traditional tiara, you go girls!
